my first post of 2007.

it had been an all outing weekend which can literally translated into a massive assault of monetary reserve.

after the fri evening villa bali dinner with joyce, i met hengzhe and simon on sat to watch "death note 2". hengzhe is currently doing his degree in japan and will be here for 3 weeks. it is interesting that we are meeting up when we usually just smile to each other in church before he left for japan. i remember the last time i spoke to him was 3 years ago when i first join fellowship and now we are like good buddies. amazing eh when people just click with you like that.

sunday afternoon i went to tuanqi. the program of the day was in the line of showing appreciation to people who were significant to you for the past year. well basically if your name has appear 3 times or more in my blog, you are appreciated by me. if your name appears 4 times and above, i love you man. ok..this is totally illogical. haha. dun bother what i had mentioned in case i broke some people's hearts. anyway i was quite touched by what a few of the brothers and sis shared about me. especially robin's.

by the way, sunday was new year's eve. i had invitations from my uni and sec sch frens to join them for the nite. in the end, i chose a cosy cafe over cannery. i dun like the crowds and noisy music at the cannery. i prefer something more private and serene. yup, and hence, i met zhigang, meishan, shuyi and desmond (meishan's bf) at bugis for dinner. as usual, meishan had a scandalous and tabloid saturated lifestyle which is hm...exciting? all because of her suggestion to have supper, we had to walk through little india in the middle of the night at 1230am. what an eye opener it was for me. it is really a miniature india after all. the sights, the smells, the sounds. oh wow.

monday i went to kangwei's place to play basketball, table tennis and squash. yea..an excellent blood circulatory workout. i am totally spent.

Hey Chief!

Sounds like a great way to spend NYE. Sometimes it's fun to be a part of something and at the same time be anonymous.

Here's hoping God brings a little clarity into our lives and shows us some of His insight!
