happy new year!

my first blog post of year 2008.

i stayed at home on new year's eve. was not in the mood of jostling shoulder to shoulder with the multitudes in town. did wanted to see the fireworks. but there will always be another time. 2009, 2010, 2011, and the list goes on...

i wanted to spend some personal time by myself. to do some reflection on my own. something that you cannot do when you are in the presence of other people. it is great to have such moments where you are cut off from the rest of the world. it is also a time for some self awareness and to think and evaluate your life.

2007 was definitely a year that was life changing for me and i learned many from the experiences. i gained a new insight about my belief. i felt liberated and very much loved by my bestest God. i changed the way i prioritise the things in my life. i became more aware of my thoughts, feelings and actions. and as mentioned earlier in one of my earlier posts, i don't see many grey skies nowadays. my days are filled with more sunshine than ever before. i am excited about what lies ahead. thank god for the wonderful year 2007. its all by his grace. his grace allows us to have a new life in christ, a holy spirit that dwells inside us and the ability to bear spiritual fruits.

i had a strange but cool dream while taking a afternoon nap today. i dreamt that my house was built along a stream and i can see the stream directly below from my "bedroom".
