after bb left, my workload has increased by another 50%. now i got to help bw and lg with their projects as well. my inbox is perpetually flooded with emails containing tasks to do. considering that i am in direct contact with around 8 to 9 project managers and 1 qa manager, things do get pretty amazing at times. and with a limited pool of resources i have and nani down with chicken pox, everything adds on to my challenge. for the first time in many weeks, i paid old friend, exhaustion, a visit. today was the only day i can finally rest at home. wanted to go to church, but i am really very tired. i feel like my body is going to disintegrate if i step out of the house today. i return back to sleep after breakfast. a welcome afternoon nap.

i finally have the courage to tell j not to come for work anymore. i felt bad for doing it because he is a nice person but ah well, got to face reality. if he's ain't suitable for the job, he got to leave and find something that is more suitable for him.

and again, it proves that having good working relationships with your colleagues make the work easier and allows things to be accomplished faster as well. yea of cos there are one or two who "exploit" me because i am still a junior but i'm fine with it as long as it works for the good of everyone. at the very least i am still learning something.

i was scrutinizing the pseudobulbs of my oncidium ampliatum the other day and found a new lead. growing this plant was purely experimental, i wasn't sure whether it will grow well in singapore. it is still early to tell. but discovering a new lead is a good start.

met ah beng after work on saturday and accompanied him to buy a new pair of pedro shoes. we went to watch 300 after that. the show was unique. i like it even though there's alot of blood and gore. first time i compliment a bloody show. toong hou can forget about watching it because i have already deliver my verdict. sorry yihan. it was an impromptu thing. we went to spirit/s bar after the show for a drink. nice place to chill out. there was a live duo singing in the bar. just below the bar, there is a irish pub which was tastefully decorated with indigenous artifacts. might try going there next time.
