it was a good day at work i should say. not exactly problem free but glad that things are manageable. things have somewhat become better. celine called back from the states to check how am i doing. i told her things are still okay. and they really are. made another new friend at work. had lunch together today. the day seems to pass by quickly. probably because i have things to do every minute of the day. no time for a tea break at all. which is a good thing i guess. at least i have projects to do.

i am halfway through the kite runner book. truly, reading can be enjoyable. i am thinking, it is better to watch a movie before reading the book or the other way round. i prefer the former. i can pick up other stuffs along the way besides those i had known from the movie. also read through the book of haggai last night. actually this was my first time reading the book. i was encouraged by what i read.

below is a picture of bulbophyllum vaginatum flowers which are rather oddly shaped. the flowers do not last very long. the plant is native to singapore. it has a gregarious habit when it comes to blooming. i got the specimen while i was doing my intern at the botanical gardens.
