the 3rd day of the lunar new year.

on the first day of the celebration, i went to grandma's place in the morning with my parents, sister and brother-in-law. my relatives from my dad's side are all lovely folks. saw quite a few of my cousins. the small ones were cute. i had a fun time chatting with my uncle who opens a pub at boat quay. i find him totally cool. we had our breakfast at my grandma's place. i love her prawn noodles. it was yummy. grandma's cooking is still the best in the world.

next we went to my uncle's place to view his new apartment. it was located on the 37th floor. the view was fantastically panoramic. from the windows, you can see the straits of singapore, bukit timah hill and even the downtown CBD area. loved the view alot.

that wraps up my house visits for CNY. yup, only 2 houses. i simply rested from the 2nd day onwards. read my book and spend time doing some gardening. as for appointments with friends, i have arranged them to start from next monday onwards. for the interim period, i shall just enjoy the nice, quiet and peaceful days doing the things that i like without any distractions. and of cos to have some time alone with god.

i was digging out alot of stuffs that has been hidden in the deepest corner of my mind today. ironically, my mind needs some spring cleaning too. i pray that the love of god will permeate every area of my life as well as those of my friends. let us continue to love one another as our father, whose son who died on the cross for us, has loved us.
