my family went to thomson road to visit far east flora nursery yesterday in the end. my dad bought 3 more tillandsia species. it was the first time my sister and brother-in-law went to the place. i helped them took a few pics, including one where my sister was holding a pot of cattleya intergeneric hybrid. we went to queensway to have our dinner. dad ordered a lot of food yesterday. everyone was thoroughly well-fed.

next, we made our way to queenway shopping centre. there was a long queue at the carpark. the carpack was full and we got to wait for some cars to leave the building. i bought myself a pair of pants, a long-sleeve shirt and a pair of nike shoes at queensway shopping centre. i like the shoes very much. my sister found the shoes for me. haha. it has a partially checkered print design and comes with baby blue shoelaces and linings. actually it comes with 2 different coloured shoelaces. one set that is of a light blue hue and one set that is brown. so basically you can match the shoelaces according to what you are wearing. thats coolest. i have discover the joy of shopping. understand why people of the opposite gender loves to shop. however, it will never be my top hobby, thats for sure.

tired by all the shopping at the end of the day. went straight to bed after reading an article in a magazine.

the sermon today was by pastor brian houston from hillsongs. its about knowing and using the platform that God has placed us on. in another words, utilising the gifts and talents that He has blessed onto us to serve Him. never fear about making mistakes as He will turn them into miracles. =)

after the service, i had dinner with seth, jeremy and brandon. the topics over dinner were stimulating. had not seen brandon for a very long time. it was good to see him again.
