went to a pub at emerald hill called ice cold beer after work with the creative team guys to celebrate lena's farewell. don't really know most of the people who were there. the place was interesting. pretty hip but yet cosy. the music was more of modern and alternative rock types. i like the music mix. jet, maroon 5, the killers, etc... a stone throw away from alley bar, shall go there again in future.

be going back for reservist next monday. its going to be 2 weeks. free "delectable" food and accomodation with mossies for companions. guided nature tours and free ammunition to play with. what can i lament. its absolutely "marvellous"!

herng jer will be back in singapore on the 8th of aug. still unsure where to go for our short weekend trip. currently on the list are siem reap, bangkok, ho chi minh city or hanoi and kuala lumpur, but digging more on bangkok and vietnam (which i may have to take 2 days off from work). been to kuala lumpur quite a few times last year. looking very much forward to the trip nonetheless!
