went to partyworld for karaoke with my colleagues alex and his 2 friend, and huili and her 2 friends on fri evening. huili is seriously a fanatic mayday fan. she chose more than a dozen of their songs. her friend was really up to date and good with many music genre. alex and charlton can sing well.

the karaoke session ended at 11pm. zhigang called me and asked me whether i want to join him, meishan and terri at nydc heeren. meishan even kept for me a slice of pizza. haha. i didn't join them in the end. was tired.

on saturday, i went for my first tennis lesson near kallang stadium with teryang and meishan. both of them had already 8 lessons worth of experience ahead of me. i was struggling to relax my right arm. got some motor coordination problems. collin and juliana came and join us for a set of recreational tennis game after our lesson. it was basically a teachers' gathering that evening. i was the only one who was not a teacher. after the game, all of us went to liptor's cafe to chill out. we played throwing darts, bluff and dai di. feeling hungry, we drove to a hong kong cafe at east coast road. oh man, the french toast was quite terrible. i felt like i was eating plain bread. the peanut butter spread was stingy. did not like the almond soup either. meishan lend me a book to read. she thought the book will be helpful for me.

suppose to go with xw for english service today, but i am down with flu and cough (it started last night). have to cancel my appointment with zhigang as well. was thinking of catching shrek 3 with him. unfortunately, my body tells me i got to stay at home to rest.
