went for a haircut today. did not cut too short this time. i like the hairdresser at this shop. she is a nice lady. feels homely and cosy when i go there for a hair trim.

i will be starting my new job tomorrow. its funny how many times i tell people the actual date and still they can ask me how is my new job when i have not even started work.

found 2 pseudobulbs with developing buds on my cattleya candy tuft.

i am not a perfect nice person. but i am working towards it. find it difficult to be a good testimonial whenever i am with some groups of friends. especially those who keep picking on the things i do. for example, she will say, " christians cannot do this right." or "you are holy, therefore, you cannot do this." hm..i am a christian and i know what i am doing. ah well. i am not going to be bothered by her antics. but it can get a bit annoying sometimes.

by the way, there is a celebrity polar bear cub call knut which is all the craze in germany. it has a number 1 hit single "Knut, der kleine Eisbär" in the music chart and even appears on the cover of the vanity fair magazine in germany. seriously, this bear cub is freaking cute and i can understand why it has become hugely popular. here's a youtube video and the pic of the cub.
