its the end of the week again. my very first week at my new workplace. still pretty cool. my colleague fell sick for 2 days, so it was a good chance for me to quickly learn things to stay afloat. i am all ready and well-prepared. haha.

i feel more comfortable wearing long sleeve shirts and pants. i tried to make it fun by buying different colours so that i won't be in a monotone working attire. furthermore, the people in my workplace dress rather flamboyantly, a live fashion show. a bunch of good looking people. got to compete with them. i am talking rubbish here. but you feel much better and more confident when you are dressed well.

met my ex-colleagues, seu chu, jenny, khim and nani, for lunch at the foodcourt amara hotel. the prawn noodle i ate was quite nice. today was jenny's last day at my ex-company.

i feel happier nowadays. solitude is in. music is my good buddy again. songs lift my spirit when i am tired. helps me drift off to pseudo-drunk state for a while. hm..sounds like clubbing? no way, its still a waste of time.

zhigang asked me to accompany him to shop for aquatic plants tomorrow. not sure where we'll be going.

have been seeing people come and go in my life. don't feel like forming anymore deep friendships. its painful when they ends. anyway there are other things to look forward to that keeps me motivated.
