“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.”- 1 John 5:14-15

i want to lead the victorious life that jesus promises. i want to see changes in my life. i want to let go of the things that i am holding on to. i want to experience the joy of having god as my saviour. i don't want to live according to human standards. i want the freedom. the liberty. the feeling of standing on top of a mountain. and yet be forever amazed by the smallest things he created.

what is the love of christ to me?

personally, i think that it does not mean that having an excellent knowledge of the bible automatically qualifies a person to knows how to love others. the love has to come from the holy spirit. and people have the capacity to feel and know whether the love is genuine or "act" out. the latter happens when christians treat the commandment as a task "assigned" to them according to the bible. it is short lived and a half hearted attempt. to continually love others requires the love of christ - the source of all love. to put away our selfish desires and place god above everything else. i always heard that there will be a glow in your face when the power of god is in you. that is true.

Hey Benson!

Peter Pan eh? I have the same problem. If I had a full head of hair I would look 20 lol

Feel better! I feel lousy too. Maybe I caught what you have. How far is Singapore from Texas?

I used to know the Bible quite well in my heyday. Now it's just flashes and verses here and there. I can relate to how Peter denied knowing Jesus before the cock crowed...just like he said would happen...we never know what we're capable of until we are pushed.

Fun fact: Did you know kayaking is a required course in Greenland schools?

Hi Mike!

Haha. Don't be infected by me. Cheer up bro!

The distance from Singapore to Texas is 16076km or 9990 miles.

I think the bible has to be read consistently. It gives you different insights every time you read the same verse.

Nope! I didn't know you need to take up kayaking in Greenland schools. That's cool!
