Wow, someone came out of the gate charging! What's up with Dad? Is he annoying you as mine does to me? lol Here's the secret to dads: they all have a choice. They can either act just like their dad and not change the things that need to be changed thereby being a bad father OR they can identify what was done wrong, do a 180 on it and make themselves a better parent. Unfortunately, my dad was the former. I can't imagine being the way he was to my son. But...we have to accept them for who they are. We don't always like it but we do it. Remember...take his lemons and make lemonade!

What you mentioned is exactly what my friend said too. Identify what was wrong and do a 180 on it.
