i saw snapshots of zhigang's species tank with a few generations of fish living happily together. i want a tank like his too! there are quite a few species of african cichlids can be kept that way, for example, Neolamprologus brichardi from lake tanganyikan. we are going to have an outing this coming saturday with him and meishan. zhigang said the guys will do the shopping this time round because it had always been the other way. haha.

thanks edwin for accompanying me to queenstown library last saturday. i wanted to see how was the place like after it had undergone major renovations. it was the first library that i set both my feet on. i was around five when my dad brought me to the place. Fell in love with books from then on. still remember the first books that I borrowed were big Dr. Seuss books. I did felt nostalgic when i was there on saturday. I missed the old layout. the wild guppy population in the drain just outside the entrance of the library had been eliminated during the construction works, there wasn’t any fish left.

after visiting the library, edwin brought me to a dumpling store located inside queenstown hawker centre. the dumplings there were excellent. i brought edwin to timbre after dinner. timbre had became more like a family restaurant. there are young kids and babies for goodness sake and some sort of bazaar going on down there. thanks for the treat bro.

just received an email from mike. glad that he had enjoyed his trip with his family to disneyland.
