This colour
Did the DISC personality test during a career workshop yesterday in fellowship. Know what...my profile is now an I.D... used to be a C.S. in JC (that was ~6 years ago). I do see myself changing as i get to know God more... shall credit most of the change to Him. Nothing is impossible in God.
3 years ago, before i began my first school term in NUS, i told God that i want to know and meet more people. It came true. Never in my entire life had i met and interact with so many people. All of a sudden, my social circle exploded. I got to make a lot of friends, from astonishingly hardworking ones to chiongsters and bimbos and slackers.
I really love the experience...like the huge diversity of characters that i met. Besides my primary school life which i fondly missed, the exposure in Uni life will be something i will cherish. The only aspect of tertiary education which i found lacking were the types of modules that i took for my majors. They were mostly dry and uninteresting. Some modules made you dislike the subjects even more. Things like cell biology, tumour biology, molecular genetics were not my cup of tea and i was being subtlely coerced to take them up to fulfil my major requirements. Shivers. Oh well...my last semester already.
I remembered what John said yesterday about winter and how it was described by Da Chang Jin. Winter does not only brings cold and death, but it is a time for plants to rest and brings about vernalisation to prepare seeds for germination in spring. Without winter, some seeds will not be able to germinate and there will be no harvest for people. This will be disastrous for people.
I just find that interesting and meaningful. So just want to share it.
To me, it means that following a difficult period (winter), the coming of good times is ahead (spring, summer, autumn). Hey... and the good times are longer than winter...HAHA...3/4 of a year.

Hey Benson!

Glad to see you had a winter...here in texas we didn't get one...or a fall...or a spring...seems like it's been summer constantly...we're like 27 inches in the hole as far as rain...seems like a miracle we have any water at all! No one has said anything about a shortage though so that's good. We're actually supposed to get rain this week! Yip yip!
