My language of love is no longer time. Stumbled upon the change by accident while talking to melvin (Thanks bro...i was inspired after the chat over lunch yesterday). I do not know when the transition point came about. It most likely happened gradually over a period of months. Is that suppose to be one of the characteristics of quarter-life individual? This is interesting. A couple of months back, i would love to hang out late with friends and talk with them about anything under the sun, moon and stars. Not so much now. Quality relationships cannot be built upon time alone. They encompass other humane aspects. If the relationship is going to work out, it will work out in the end no matter how much time you spend together. There is bound to have people whom you won't develop the closeness even after you had spend a million hours with them. At the other end of the scale, there are people you meet for the first time and immediately feel like your have been good old friends for a million years. This is weird but it happens.
Focusing too much on oneself is one sure route to self-destruction. That is when self-pity, envy and jealousy all sets in. Of course, we need time to do some self-reflections at one time or another. Got to be introspective at times but looking yourself from afar does help to see things better too. Always remember that no problem is ever too big for our God because God is even bigger and greater than them. What we are suffering now is really peanuts compared to the pain Jesus had to endure on the cross. So before complaining about something next time, think about Jesus. What is stress really..stupid stress. Why are you forever on the mouth of people? Haha.
And i got to know a great cool friend by the name of mike overall all the way from the States through my blog. Thanks bro for your encouraging comments...=)
