Faithful God

The sermons today were interesting. I have always look upon God as a loving God. He is a warm and friendly God who forgives, disciplines, and showers lots of love to me even when i do something wrong and become rebellious. Different individuals have different perceptions of who God is...even though we worship and believe the same God. The same happens when we read a bible passage, the words speak to each of us according to our needs. This is amazing man. It just reinforced that God is an all-round giver and provider to everyone and not limited by anything but rather has a power that is uncomprehenable to us.

What makes God so real is His expression of emotions and the desire to share with us our joys and pains with Him. He rejoices when we are happy, he cries with us when we are down. He knows our heart so well that no human friend is capable of. He never fails us. He never leaves us. He never forsake us. He will carry us in everlasting arms that never tires so that we will not do the walking by ourselves. He wants us to soar like eagles...not flapping( thanks Mingwei for this analogy). In simpler terms, all we have to do is to rest in Him. He will do His work in us if we allow Him to.

All the earthly treasures cannot compare to His glorious Kingdom that is coming. Where the realm of beauty and purity is before our eyes. Where joy is 24/7 and tears and worries are no more in the dictionaries. Where i can see angels! This is so cool! The glory of God is in you for eternally and the peaceful and joyous music of love is played forever in your ears.

A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for...

I'm hungry now....the lab is celebrating the arrival of winter...the air-con is so coldddd....
