Had dinner by myself at Adam's Road Market after going to Serangoon North to look at some pets. Initially quite sian, cos eating alone. Seems like everyone got something on today except me. After ordering my duck noodle, i proceed to sit down at an empty table. A middle age Caucasian guy came and joined me at the table. He ordered some beer. We did not talk to each other. He left after finishing his beer.
Something cool happen after that that cheered me up. An Iranian couple came and sat down at the same table. The wife asked me to try her rojak. It was very nice of her. We were strangers and she actually asked me to try her food! We had a short conversation. Found out that they have been staying in Singapore at Arcadia Road for 18 years. They are US citizens. Have a son and a daughter who are both studying in the States. Their son is working in some firm inside the Silicon Valley while the daughter is doing her Masters at Philadelphia. They all love Singapore. Hm....
Always find expats so friendly..i remembered another incident when an American guy just talk to me while walking beside a road. Everything seems so spontaneous. I enjoyed all these experience. Wooooo...
